Ten feared dead in gory accident at Teacher Mante

At least ten passengers on board an Accra bound VIP bus are reported to have died instantly in a fatal accident at Teacher Mante -New town, a suburb of Nsawam in the Eastern region.

Several others sustained serious injuries after a Cargo truck with registration number GT 1624-F veered off its way and hit the side of the bus.

The gory accident occurred Thursday afternoon.

According to an eyewitness, the Cargo truck travelling from Accra to Kumasi lost control after its breaks supposedly failed to apply, crashing into the VIP bus with registration number GE 2393-10.

Nana Osei Marfo, a journalist reports that several other passengers with varying degrees of injuries have been rushed to the Nsawam Government Hospital.

Police officers from the Coaltar and Nsawam district command are currently at the scene to retrieve and convey the victims to the Hospital.
