The voter’s register is bloated- Dr Arthur Kennedy

Dr. Arthur Kennedy, a political activist and physician, has criticized the voter registration process in Ghana, alleging that the voter register is bloated and inaccurate.

Speaking on JoyNews’ AM Show, he highlighted concerns about outdated registration methods and procedural errors, such as using unconnected laptops for biometric data collection.

Dr. Kennedy also questioned the Electoral Commission's (EC) role in auditing its own work, advocating for an independent review to ensure transparency.

His comments echo the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s demands for an audit of the voter register, which the EC has so far refused.
