Former Environment Minister Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng has criticized Ghana's lack of comprehensive planning, calling it a major obstacle to progress.
Speaking on JoyNews' The Pulse, he highlighted the absence of clear goals and milestones in sectors like transportation, health, and industry.
Prof Frimpong-Boateng condemned the practice of setting ambitious visions, such as Agenda 2030, without actionable steps, urging for immediate, concrete plans to address current issues.
He emphasized the need for present actions to ensure future generations have a solid foundation to build upon, rather than continuously shifting targets to future dates.
