Tracking the gains of Bice Osei Kuffour led administration after 100 days in office

Monday, 11th April, marked 100 days since Bice Obour Osei Kuffour began his official duty as the Managing Director of Ghana Post.

Mr Bice Osei Kuffour's led administration has taken significant steps to explore mutually supportive and rewarding partnerships to achieve more robust growth and advance a shared agenda for a harmonized transformation of Ghana Post.

Over the past 100 days, Bice Osei Kuffour led administration has been engulfed with strategic plans that seek to grow Ghana Post and reposition it as a critical driver of inclusive socio-economic development in Ghana and the world.

Ten Outstanding Gains In 100 Days

Rebranding (Top Of Mind Awareness of Ghana Post)
Through a series of marketing and communication activities, Bice Osei Kuffour led administration has reached out to individuals and corporate institutions to create brand visibility for Ghana Post.

Development of a 3-year strategic plan for Ghana Post
Bice Osei Kuffour led administration has developed a three-year strategic plan focusing on Speed, efficiency and ownership.

The revitalization of Speedlink Pick & Drop

Speedlink is a call away service that focuses mainly on short interval and same-day deliveries in Accra and Tema Metropolis. This Pick and Drop service comes at the request of customers. Since the assumption of office, his administration revamped the service to provide the quickest means of connecting to, sending, and receiving merchandise or documents from one location. The
service will soon be commenced in all regional capitals to ensure nationwide secure, reliable and competitive pick and drop service.

Vals on Wheels Promo

The initiative, known as "Vals On Wheels", started on February 14 -15, 2022, is part of several measures adopted to woo many Ghanaians to do business with the company, particularly in the areas of deliveries. The promo enabled shoppers, families, and loved ones to express their love by paying only GH¢20 for their gifts to be picked up by Ghana Post team and delivered on their
behalf. The 'Vals on Wheel Promo" uplifted the image of Ghana Post by building a solid brand of reliability and further turning around the fortunes of the company.

Re-introduction of Scuttle boxes

With the successful implementation of the National Digital Property Address System (GPS), the Scuttle Box initiative is to facilitate the delivery of items to the doorsteps of every Ghanaian. Bice Osei Kuffour-led administration has reintroduced the service and reached out to customers with mail forwarding. Mail Forwarding enables customers with Private Letter Boxes to receive the content of their letterboxes in the comfort of their homes

Partnership with NLA on gaming at Post Offices

Ghana Post has partnered with The National Lottery Authority (NLA) to enable NLA to expand its horizon by offering various brands of lotteries within some strategic locations of Ghana Post across the country.

Ghana Post will earn a commission on all services rendered on behalf of NLA
Ongoing Partnership with DVLA and NIA to offer their services at Post offices
With over 350 branches in strategic locations, Ghana Post is partnering with DVLA and NIA to bring their services closer to the doorsteps of Ghanaians.

Rejuvenation of MOMO service at Post office

Momo service is one of the key services rendered by the financial services unit of Ghana Post.

Nevertheless, most Post Offices were not actively providing the service due to some challenges.

Since the assumption of office, Bice Osei Kuffour led administration has resourced and restructured the service to be offered in all strategic post offices actively.

Acquisition of Delivery Devices for EMS

Upon assumption of office, Bice Osei Kuffour led administration has acquired delivery devices for EMS to ensure effective and efficient service to customers
Acquisition of New Fleet On 11th April 2022, Ghana Post unveiled a fleet of vehicles to improve service delivery. The fleet included seven heavy-duty trucks, eight pickups and 50 motorcycles. The commissioning of these
new motorbikes, pickups and trucks is a clear indication of Ghana Post's commitment to serve customers with excellence and to increasing the company's revenue stream.

Beyond the First 100 Days
The above gains are only the beginning; with support from management and staff, Ghana Post, under the leadership of Bice Osei Kuffour, is poised to contribute to economic growth, serve customers with speed and position itself as the leader in the industry and grow from a self-sustaining organisation to a dividend-paying organization.
