Franklin Cudjoe, Founding President of IMANI Africa, has voiced his frustration with Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC), accusing it of "gerrymandering" and disenfranchising voters in Santrokofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi (SALL) during the 2020 elections.
In an opinion piece, he criticized the EC for breaking its promise to allow SALL residents to vote, citing a midnight announcement just before the election that denied them this right.
Cudjoe claims this decision shifted power in Parliament, favoring the ruling NPP, and condemned the judicial dismissal of a related case as “judicial chicanery.”
He lamented the lack of representation and development for his people over four years.
