Two Asante Kotoko players abscond in USA

Two Sudanese players of Asante Kotoko, AbdoelKarem Yagoub and Esmat Abdulhamid, have reportedly disappeared from their team's hotel in the USA.

They were part of a group that traveled for a friendly match against DC United.

The club was forced to cancel the match due to visa issues for the remaining players.

On Friday night, officials discovered the two players had snuck out of the hotel, despite being denied permission to leave earlier.

Efforts to find them have been unsuccessful, and the team is working to ensure their safe return.
