Two KNUST scientists invited to present at 2024 UN General Assembly Science Summit

Two scientists from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Professor Alexander Yaw Debrah and Dr. Linda Batsa Debrah, will represent Ghana at the United Nations General Assembly Science Summit on September 19, 2024, in New York.

Professor Debrah will present on improving lymphatic filariasis treatment in Ghana through digital solutions, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Health for all).

Dr. Debrah will moderate a session on global health careers and speak about the challenges of conducting clinical research in resource-limited settings.

The summit will address global issues like climate action and AI.
