Two more suspects arrested over DRIP clash at Apam

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals and declared others wanted in connection with a violent clash in Apam, Central Region, on September 16, 2024.

The suspects include Alhaji Kassim Mohammed, NDC Gomoa West Constituency Chairman, and two others, Stephen Cobbinah (alias Bonjour) and Joseph Mensah (alias Kofi Kokor).

They, along with others, disrupted the District Roads Improvement Programme (DRIP) commissioning ceremony, leading to a clash between NPP and NDC supporters.

An NDC member was injured after being hit with a carjack.

The arrested suspects are in custody and will face court proceedings.
