UGBS, Tullow Ghana Ltd commission new e-library for students

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has lauded the role of Tullow Ghana Limited in the establishment of a new e-library for undergraduates at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Speaking at an event to outdoor the new library, Dean for the Business School, Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor called on other organizations and corporate bodies to emulate the example of Tullow Ghana in giving back to society.

“The quality of our infrastructure is fundamental to our ambitions and UGBS is seeking partnership with the private sector to actualize this vision. The next phase of our graduate project is the business lodge and we hope to start this as soon as we clear all processes in the university.”

Unveiling the library, the Managing Director for Tullow Ghana limited, Charles Darku urged the students to make good use of the facility that has been provided. According to him, his company was passionate and committed to developing world class human resource and capital.

“It has been rewarding partnering with the university to make this project come to fruition. I will therefore urge the students to take good care of the facility. Tullow Ghana hopes this library will meet the needs of the modern business student, academic or executive, using cutting edge information technology to acquire knowledge.



The library which is located on the second and third floors of the newly furnished university of Ghana business school hall was also named “The University of Ghana Business School Tullow Library”.
