2018-10-27Vote based on competence, not campaigns – Sylvester Mensah to NDC women, youth wings
Sylvester Mensah has advised the NPP youth not to give in to intimidation
NDC flagbearer hopeful, Sylvester Adinam Mensah, has charged women and the youth wings of the party to vote for competent individuals, ahead of the party’s conference to elect leaders for the Women’s wing and Youth wing.

He wrote: “It should not be about who campaigned the most or who had the most resources. The leadership we elect is a reflection on our collective aspiration and a measure of what we deserve. Let us go for competence, capability, good manners, proactiveness, talent and the capacity to advance appropriate solutions and responses to our political challenges.”
He admonished delegates against attaching emotions or passion to their electoral decisions and encouraged them not to give in to any form of intimidation at the electoral grounds.
“Let us endeavour to isolate emotions and passion from our preferences and choices. Let us not be intimidated by any! May the NDC be the winner at the end of this exercise!” he added.

NDC Flagbearer hopeful Sylvester Adinam Mensah writes
We are at the decision point on NDC's National Youth and Women leadership. It should not be about who campaigned the most or who had the most resources. The leadership we elect is a reflection on our collective aspiration and a measure of what we deserve. Let us endeavour to isolate emotions and passion from our preferences and choices. Let us go for competence, capability, good manners, proactiveness, talent and the capacity to advance appropriate solutions and responses to our political challenges. Let us not be intimidated by any! May the NDC be the winner at the end of this exercise!
