A Senior Technical Advisor to the Director General of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) has advised Ghanaians and voters to look out for statistics in manifestos of political parties.

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive with Ekourba Gyasi Wednesday, Mrs. Grace Bediako mentioned that political parties should be able to state in their manifestos statistics such as the number of people a particular project will benefit, the issues which the party can solve, and the party’s policy on people living in both rural and urban areas.

The former Government Statistician added that the electorate should also look out for the procedures, plans and strategies the parties will use to execute polices outlined.

She cited that some political parties usually present policies without laid down procedures to implement these policies and that it is important that the electorate make sure that political parties include policy implementation procedures in their manifestos.
