WAEC has warned that invigilators involved in malpractice during the 2024 WASSCE will face legal consequences.
The exam, held from August 5 to September 20, saw incidents such as the distribution of answers and smuggling of mobile phones into exam halls.
John Kapi, WAEC’s Public Relations Head, stated that some invigilators have already been fined or face court action. He emphasized the council's commitment to conducting fair examinations despite the challenges.
WAEC encourages stakeholders to report cheating attempts to uphold the integrity of the examination process.
