Wa Naa urges Akufo-Addo to redeem promise of rehabilitating Wa-Bole-Bamboi road

Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, the Overlord of the Wala Traditional Area, has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to fulfill his promise to rehabilitate the Wa-Bole-Bamboi highway before his term ends.

He described the road's condition as a nightmare for travelers and emphasized that the community is eagerly awaiting action.

Speaking during the Dumba festival, he highlighted other concerns, including security issues and the need for infrastructure improvements at local educational institutions.

The Minister of Chieftaincy assured that the road project has been contracted and work is expected to begin soon. President Akufo-Addo also donated GH¢20,000 to support the festival.
