MP for Wa West, Supt. Retired Peter Lanchene Toobu, has urged the communities of Lassia Tuolu and Kendew to end their conflict and embrace peace.
The dispute over ritual practices has claimed three lives and left one person critically injured.
Toobu commended security agencies for their efforts in restoring stability and emphasized that conflict resolution requires cool heads and dialogue, not force or anger.
He encouraged the communities to unite against poverty, ignorance, and underdevelopment, and appealed to the media and public to verify information before sharing news.
He also urged support for the return of peace between the communities.
