The Greater Accra House of Chiefs has expressed strong confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, to effectively lead Ghana as President.

During a meeting on June 4, Obuade Tse Nii King Odaifio III, the Paramount Chief of Nungua, praised Dr. Bawumia’s calm and composed demeanor, highlighting it as a positive departure from the violent and radical approaches of some past leaders.

The chiefs believe Bawumia’s leadership style will enable him to make informed, beneficial decisions.

Dr. Bawumia thanked the chiefs for their endorsement and pledged not to disappoint, seeking their wisdom and guidance.
