The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced plans to collaborate with international partners for the deployment of service personnel abroad.

Nee Odoi Tetteyfio, Chairman of the Governing Board, revealed this at the NSA's launch, which replaces the former National Service Scheme. He acknowledged challenges during the transition but emphasized that these hurdles have inspired innovative solutions to better serve personnel and stakeholders.

Tetteyfio stated that the international deployment initiative aims to foster “brain-management” rather than contribute to brain drain, with personnel required to return to Ghana after their service.

The NSA will prioritize deployments based on skills and national needs to enhance economic development.
