We’re forwarding Naa Koryoo’s docket to AG for advice – Police

The Ghana Police Service has announced that the case docket for NDC parliamentary candidate Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor is being sent to the Attorney-General for review.

Naa Koryoo, cautioned for "transfer of firearms without authority," was granted bail alongside three others. Her arrest on June 7 at the Cantonments Police Station, related to firearm possession and the stabbing of the Awutu Senya East MP's son, sparked NDC protests demanding her release.

Usman Haruna was also arrested for the stabbing and remains in custody.

NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia warned against future arrests of party members following Naa Koryoo's release.
