Residents of Adabraka, a central suburb in Accra, are fearful after a recent daylight robbery—the third such incident in three months—citing a lack of security as the primary issue.
Speaking to Joy News, locals expressed deep concerns about safety and reported that robbers, after seizing cash, threw around GHȼ30,000 into the air before escaping.
Residents blame the absence of a permanent police presence and criticized certain local business owners for neglecting security measures.
They are calling on the police to set up a permanent station in Adabraka to address the security crisis and deter future crimes.
