The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) is willing to discuss how to make up for lost instructional hours following their two-month strike, which ended on August 20, 2024.

The strike was in response to the government's failure to implement agreed-upon conditions of service.

While CETAG's national president, Prince Obeng-Himah, confirmed the association's openness to discussions, he emphasized that teachers will not work beyond regular hours to recover lost time.

He stressed that the strike was legal and that any recovery plan should not compromise teachers' health or well-being.
