The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has assured that the police are fully prepared to maintain law and order during Ghana's upcoming December elections.
Speaking at the Electoral Commission headquarters in Accra, he emphasized that police personnel will be deployed to polling centers to ensure peace and security throughout the election process.
He also urged all stakeholders to remain calm and follow the law, stressing that the police are committed to ensuring a successful and peaceful election for the country.
