North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has petitioned the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to halt a $24.9 million payment in a contentious ambulance spare parts deal involving Service Ghana Auto Group Limited.
The deal, which has already seen an initial $10 million approved by former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, is alleged to involve corruption and conflict of interest linked to President Akufo-Addo’s daughters.
Ablakwa's petition includes all relevant documents and seeks to prevent the additional payment, emphasizing the need to protect public funds and address urgent health sector needs instead.
