We will not let you down – EC’s pledge to Ghanaians

The Electoral Commission (EC) has promised to conduct fair, credible, and peaceful elections on December 7, 2024.

Speaking at a press conference, Chairperson Jean Mensa assured Ghanaians of the EC's integrity and transparency.

She announced that 13 presidential candidates qualified for the 2024 election, while 10 were disqualified, and one withdrew.

Mrs. Mensa emphasized the EC's openness to feedback and called on candidates to focus on policy-driven campaigns.

She reaffirmed that the election outcome will be determined by the citizens, not the EC, and pledged to ensure a transparent process.
