Samuel Apea-Danquah, leader of the Yellow Ghana movement, has filed for an injunction to stop the Electoral Commission (EC) from printing ballot papers and notices for the upcoming December 7 elections.
His lawyer, Martin Kpebu, argues that the EC's disqualification of Apea-Danquah and several others, including Bernard Mornah and Janet Nabla, violated their right to a fair hearing, as it did not specify reasons for the disqualification.
Apea-Danquah claims the EC’s decision is based on falsehoods and seeks to have it declared illegal, citing multiple violations of the 1992 Constitution.
