Your ‘saliva built government' will collapse with ‘dew’ – Haruna Iddrisu to NPP

He further jabbed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta over their ‘ignorance’ as far as the social intervention achievements of the NDC was concerned.

“A few days ago, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia backed by Ken Ofori-Atta, sought to define social intervention. You can google Wikipedia definition of social intervention. And to quote the Minister of Finance, he said the NDC has no social intervention, yet we contributed to quality education in the country, we contributed to healthcare delivery and we contributed to reducing infant mortality”.



“Indeed in 2015, Ghana under President Mahama was awarded by the UN for halving poverty, yet a party and government which halved poverty did not contribute in any way to the social intervention of our country. Maybe Dr. Bawumia and Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta must go back to the Thesaurus dictionary to look for a new different definition of social intervention. I can only wish our aspirants very very well”, concluded.

Mr. Iddrisu was resolute his members will persistently be on the government’s toes till they honour their obligations to Ghanaians.

“We will as a parliamentary minority continue to exercise oversight and to demand increased transparency and accountability”. Meanwhile, outspoken leading party member called for unity and collaboration on the part of his members. This he says will serve the greater good of the party and help the future cause.
