The Women’s University in Africa (WUA) in Harare, Zimbabwe, has introduced the Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang Best Female Leader Award during its 20th Graduation ceremony.
Named after Ghana’s first female Vice Chancellor and NDC running-mate, this award honors exceptional female student leaders.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang, who served as WUA’s Chancellor for two terms, significantly advanced the university’s growth and global networks.
The award reflects her dedication to leadership and excellence.
WUA, with an 80% female student enrolment, aims to inspire future female leaders and bridge educational gaps.
