Zipline, operators of the medical drone services stationed at Vobsi in the West Mamprusi Municipality has expressed its readiness to deploy its medical drones to communities and health facilities that would be affected by the Bagre Dam spillage.

This was revealed when the Deputy Director-General of NADMO, Abu Ramadan, and members of the operation thunder Bolt paid a working visit to Zipline.

The operation engineer, Kennedy Kisi outlined the importance of the drone to health delivery and assured residents of quick medical supplies in case of serious situations after the spillage.

He said the main aim of Zipline is to bridge the gap between the cut-off communities and provide essential medicines and supplies.

He assured the residents that they have several drones that would serve the people and provide them with the essentials they need during the spillage.

Mr. Ramadan on his part said they were there to assess the readiness of Zipline and to come to an agreement to see the way forward should the dam be spilled.

He said some of the areas are already cut-off with an increasing rate of snake bites and from what they have gathered, Zipline is well prepared for the spillage.

He noted that Zipline was prepared in the delivery of medical supplies when necessary to affected communities.

NADMO he stated would continue to collaborate with Zipline in the medical delivery in the region.
