Zoe church saga: Angry customers use 'kpokeke'; invoke curses on pastor for 'duping' them

Angry investors of EL Real Estates and Tikowre Capital have invoked curses on the Head Pastor of Zoe Outreach Embassy Church over what they describe as alleged embezzlement of their funds.

They claim the use of alcohol specifically Kpokeke is the only way the gods will deal with the Pastor for the harm done them.

The clients claim, the Pastor has incurred their wrath after he failed to fulfil his promise to retrieve their monies to them.

According to one of the victims, he said the law and the church does not work so they need to look for other means to get their monies. And using that means they need to invoke curses by using Kpokeke because the gods are fed up with akpeteshie.

One of the victim, while pouring Kpokeke and breaking eggs on the ground said the Pastor has left them with no other option after the 'lies and deceit'.

“Anyone who touches our money and doesn’t release it to us will face the wrath of the gods because we are tired of the lies from the Pastor. We want our gods to collect our monies for us” he said.

He went on to add that they decided to do these rituals at the church’ because the person who owns the church is a fraudster.



This would be the second in two weeks that these customers have thronged the premises to register their grievances. They on the 16th of June stormed the church whilst service was ongoing and threatened to do their worse if their monies weren’t released.

They say all attempts to withdraw their dividends, principal from the two entities allegedly owned since last year have proven futile. Recent attempts to reach the man of God also through phone calls they maintain have also failed.

The disgruntled customers who said they invested because of the trust they had for the man of God say he betrayed their trust.



They added that even when other Microfinance institutions were going through crises, Pastor Kelvin Kobiri, owner of the companies and head pastor of Zoe Outreach Ministries was able to honour his companies’ financial obligations to them by paying¢90,000 of the invested capital,¢150,000.



They, therefore, had no reason to doubt the pastor when he promised to pay them the rest later. That, however, failed.
