Midfielder Thomas Partey is likely to return to the Black Stars for their final matches against Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Arsenal player was absent from the recent doubleheader against Sudan due to a medical issue, according to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Partey, who has served as captain in Andre Ayew's absence, is expected to be part of the squad announcement by Otto Addo later this week.
