Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams will miss Ghana's final matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger due to a hamstring injury.

The club announced that the 30-year-old is unable to recover in time for their La Liga match against Real Valladolid on Sunday. Williams has been ruled out of the game, as confirmed by the club's statement regarding his left hamstring strain.

Despite scoring five goals this season, Williams was included in the Black Stars' 25-man squad for the upcoming matches. He is scheduled to undergo a scan on Monday to assess the severity of his injury.

The Black Stars will begin their training camp on Sunday in Accra, preparing for their Matchday five encounter against Angola on November 15 at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, followed by a home game against Niger three days later.

Currently, Ghana is in third place in Group F, with only two points from four matches, and they are striving to qualify for the 2025 tournament in Morocco.
