The CAF 2025 AFCON qualifiers draw has been completed.
The tournament, originally set for June and July 2024, will now take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, due to changes in the CAF calendar. Ghana is in Group F with Sudan, Angola, and Niger.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the tournament. Ghana’s biggest challenge is Sudan, coached by former Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah. Under Appiah, Sudan leads Group B in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana previously defeated Angola to qualify for the 2023 AFCON.
