Rev. Osei Kofi, a member of Ghana's 1963 and 1965 AFCON-winning teams, has attributed the Black Stars' second-place finish in the 2015 AFCON to a token given by former President John Mahama to past winners.
Kofi suggests Ghana's inability to win since 1982 is due to unfulfilled promises to past players.
He denied claims of a curse but emphasizes the importance of keeping promises, referencing the Bible.
Kofi highlighted unfulfilled housing promises from past leaders, contrasting them with the $5,000 token given in 2015, which he believes was insufficient to break the "curse" and secure victory.
