Andre Ayew lectures UG psychology department students, gets honoured for mental toughness

Black Stars captain Andre Ayew guest lectured at the University of Ghana’s psychology class, discussing topics related to his career and mental resilience.

Over two hours, he shared insights on joining the national team as a teenager, leadership, and overcoming adversity. Ayew emphasized the importance of dealing with pressure in achieving goals, encouraging students to remain mentally strong.

Invited by Dr. Collins Badu Agyemang, Ayew was recognized with the ABC Mental Fortitude award for his resilience.

Students appreciated his candid sharing, noting the relevance of sports psychology in addressing the challenges athletes face.
