Novak Djokovic expressed his disappointment with the conduct of French tennis fans, labeling their behavior as "disrespectful" after his experience at the 2024 French Open.
The Serbian champion, who holds a record seven titles at the Paris Masters, highlighted the often antagonistic environment created by French spectators, particularly during matches involving international players against French competitors.
Reflecting on his time at Roland-Garros, Djokovic recognized the fervent spirit of the French crowds but pointed out that it can quickly turn into unsportsmanlike conduct.
He remarked, "At times, they are not easy, and I’ve had some love affairs with the fans here, along with some tough seasons."
