Former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has paid tribute to the man that unearthed his talent, Alhaji Sly Tetteh on his tenth death anniversary.
Alhaji Sly Tetteh passed on ten years ago on September 3, 2011, in Cape Coast.
His death sent shockwaves to the football fraternity but ten years on, he remains in the heart of football lovers including Gyan, who began his career at Liberty Professionals, a club founded by Mr. Tetteh.
"10 years already? Hmmmmm. All I want to say is THANK YOU for everything you have done for me and my family. Keep resting well boss," Gyan wrote on Twitter.
Alhaji Sly Tetteh is credited for the discovery of talents such as Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Derek Boateng and Sulley Muntari.
Meanwhile, Liberty Professional also took to Twitter to pay respect to their founder.
"A decade ago today you left us to be with your maker. You are forever in our thoughts. Continue to rest well Alhaji Sly Tetteh.," they wrote.
