Asante Kotoko announce two Sudanese signings

Asante Kotoko has signed forward AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub and defender Esmat Hassabalbagi on season-long loans with an option for permanent deals.

Yagoub, from Hay Alwady, is set to replace Steven Mukwala, who scored 14 goals last season. Esmat, from Al Hilal, will join as a left-back. These signings mark the club's first moves in rebuilding after releasing over 21 players.

Sudan coach Kwasi Appiah, part of Kotoko's Interim Management Committee, recommended the players.

Both could debut against Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup on July 17, 2024.
