The assistant coach of Ashantigold, Thomas Duah has been re-assigned to the special assistant role to the club President.
Thomas Duah will now work close to the club president, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, following changes in the management of the club.
The Miners earlier parted ways with Sporting Director, Kwasi Darlington as part of the new changes currently ongoing in the club.
The former Ashantigold player played different roles at the club last season including working as a stand-in coach following the departure of coach Milovan Cirkivic.
Ashantigold are restructuring to ensure that they have a good campaign in the 2021/22 season.
Meanwhile, son of Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, Emmanuel Frimpong remains Chief Executive Officer of the club.
The Aboakese lads finished last season in the ninth position and were runners-up in the MTN FA Cup.
