Spintex Knights Basketball Club has qualified for the Elite 16 stage of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), marking a historic achievement for Ghanaian basketball.
The Knights progressed despite a 69-73 loss to Liberia's Mighty Barolle in their final West Division Group B game.
With a record of one win and two losses, they secured the second qualification spot in their group based on a better points difference.
Abidjan Fighters topped the group with three wins.
This is the first time a Ghanaian club has reached the Elite 16, surpassing the Braves of Customs, who failed to progress in 2019.
