Berekum Chelsea defender and captain Zackaria Fuseini says the Coronavirus break will affect his form when football resumes in Ghana.
The rapid widespread of the deadly pandemic has seen all football activities put on hold until further in the country.
"The absence of football because of the COVID-19 will affect my performance when football returns." he told Adamu Muftawu
"If you look at the number of matches played coupled with my current form, I will be affected when football returns."
Even though Fuseini trains on his own at home, he doubts that will improve his form.
"Although I am training at home but I’m not involved in high profile competitions and that is what will pull me back a bit."
"I can’t exhibit the form I had when the league resumes but with more matches I will bounce back."
The centre back was very instrumental in the back line of the Bibires in the Ghana Premier League before its suspension in March.
Fuseini was a key member of the Ghana squad that reached the semi-finals of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt last year.
