Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah impressed with players attitude during training

Head coach of Ghana’s senior national team, James Kwasi Appiah says he is impressed with the attitude his players exhibited during the team’s first training at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

The team trained for two hours and going through drills, exercises, passing and later had a short game to test the waters.

Speaking after the training session, Coach Kwasi Appiah revealed that the decent performance of the players will make it difficult for him to name a squad for Saturday’s final AFCON qualifier game.

“Since they came, everyone is comporting himself and if you look at the training sessions at a point in time I wanted to close because everyone is proving what he can play and in actual fact it makes the work difficult for me but it’s good for the nation,” the coach said

He added that the team “will be training today (Wednesday) around 6pm so that we have a feel of the light and then we train on Thursday afternoon and on Friday morning.”

The Harambee stars of Kenya are expected to arrive in Accra on Thursday.
