British tennis player Katie Boulter is set to break into the world's top 25 for the first time after her victory over Chinese sixth seed Yue Yuan, with a score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, in the semifinals of the Hong Kong Open.
At 28 years old, Boulter will face Russian top seed Diana Shnaider, 20, in the final on Sunday, as she seeks her third WTA title of the year.
Currently ranked 29th, she will rise to at least 23rd in the upcoming rankings, aiming to add to her earlier wins in Nottingham and San Diego.
