Buhari heads to London for 'scheduled medical follow-up'

Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari will travel to London for medical checkup, the presidency have announced.

The president will leave Abuja on Friday June 25, 2021, for what the presidency says will be 'scheduled medical follow-up.'

This is the second time this year that Buhari is travelling to the United Kingdom for health reasons.

Buhari travelled to London for his first medical check-up on 30th March, 2021 and spent two weeks returning on 16 April, 2021.
