CAF President blasts Ghana over Baba Yara stadium ban

Patrice Motsepe, the President of the Confederation of African Football, has strongly criticized Ghana following the ban on Baba Yara Stadium.

Last week, CAF revoked the stadium's approval for the upcoming October AFCON Qualifiers, resulting in Ghana lacking any venue suitable for a CAF category C match.

The governing body of the continent pointed to issues such as uneven playing surfaces, inadequate drainage, and insufficient grass coverage as key factors for the decision.
