Ghana Women's U-20 head coach Yussif Basigi is determined to advance beyond the group stage in the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia.
The Black Princesses, making their seventh consecutive appearance, have never progressed past the first round.
Basigi, who also coached the team in 2018, acknowledges the challenge but emphasizes their motivation and preparation. Training in Cape Coast for three weeks, the team is ready to break the jinx and advance further.
Ghana is placed in Group E, facing Austria, New Zealand, and Japan, in the expanded 24-team tournament.
