Daniel Kofi Kyereh nears return after training with Freiburg squad

Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh is close to returning to action after resuming training with Freiburg.

The 28-year-old has been sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury since February 2023, missing the entire 2023/24 season.

After months of recovery, Kyereh is now participating in pre-season training with his Bundesliga teammates, gearing up for the 2024/25 season.

He joined Freiburg in July 2022, making 12 appearances and scoring two goals in his debut season.

Kyereh has also been absent from the national team since the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
