Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala has joined Tanzanian club Simba SC after a successful two-year stint with the Porcupine Warriors.
The 24-year-old Ugandan scored 25 goals and provided seven assists in 59 Ghana Premier League games, including key performances against rivals Hearts of Oak.
Mukwala announced his departure following the 2023-2024 season, in which Kotoko finished sixth.
He joins Simba on a two-year deal, becoming one of 21 players to leave Kotoko, including Richmond Lamptey who moved to Rwandan side APR. Despite his individual success, Mukwala did not win a title with Kotoko.
