Former Ghana international Thomas Duah has refused to blame Otto Addo for the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Despite a difficult qualifying campaign, with three losses and three draws, Duah believes the issue goes beyond coaching.
The Black Stars finished bottom of Group F, missing out on the tournament for the first time in 20 years.
Duah emphasized that coaches do not play the game and that the team's struggles are not solely the coach's responsibility. Ghana will now focus on the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, set to resume in March 2025.
