The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is facing potential sanctions due to poor crowd control during recent matches.
On Thursday, during Ghana's AFCON 2025 Qualifier against Angola, incidents of fan disruption occurred at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
A fan invaded the pitch to hug Jordan Ayew, and after Ghana's 1-0 loss, angry supporters vandalized the stadium, damaging pitch panels.
This follows previous fines of $10,000 in 2020 and $15,000 earlier this year for similar crowd issues.
The GFA may face heavy penalties as these recurring problems continue.
