German Ambassador to Ghana Christoph Retzlaff has expressed excitement over his meeting with Ghana U23 manager Ibrahim Tanko on Tuesday.
Christoph who met the former Borussia Dortmund striker at his residence on Tuesday morning could not hold his joy as they reminisced his playing days at the Yellow and Blacks.
The two are believed to have shared fond memories of the German Bundesliga and the excitement it drags along as well as its fan culture.
Tanko’s current coaching career and his recent experience at the U23 AFCON in Egypt are also beleived to have been touched on.
Moments after meeting, Christoph took to twitter to express excitement over the meeting.
“Great to meet Ibrahim Tanko, 199-2000 Dortmund, my favorite team, now assistant coach of Ghana Black Stars. Our greetings go to Dortmund. Wishing Borussia all the best for tonight’s CL match,” Christoph tweeted.
