Ghana Select side beat DC United to win Capital City Africa Cup in US

Team Ghana won the second edition of the Capital City Africa Cup, defeating DC United U-18s 2-1 on October 12.

Despite DC United scoring first, Ghana equalized through Elvis Kyei Baffour before Geoffrey Owusu netted the winner.

This marks back-to-back victories for Ghana after Medeama SC's triumph last year.

The match, part of DC Ghana Week, was initially scheduled between Asante Kotoko and DC United, but Kotoko's withdrawal due to visa issues led to the creation of a Ghana Select Side with top Ghanaian players.
