UK-based football analyst Kwadwo Adjei Gyimah has called on the Ghanaian government to focus on developing grass seeds to improve the country’s football pitches.

This comes after CAF banned Baba Yara Stadium, Ghana’s only internationally approved venue, due to its "unsuitable playing field."

Gyimah emphasized the need for better infrastructure, including proper drainage systems, to protect pitches from wear and tear.

The ongoing crisis may force the Black Stars to play their next home match abroad in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, starting with a game against Sudan on October 10.
